In order to (1) collect all information for conference participants in one place (e.g., Zoom, Dropbox access information) and (2) promote communication among participants, we are going to use an online communication tool called Slack for the 58th JAAS Annual Conference (Slack is like an online information board for conference participants).
We have created a Slack workplace for conference participants. And, we will be sending out invitations to join this workplace in the first week of May.
You can join Slack workplace for free, however, we will only send invitations to those who have paid the conference fee. Thus, it is crucial that you pay the conference fee in advance (It is due on April 21st [Wed]).
At the 58th JAAS Annual Conference, we will be using (1) Zoom (for oral presentations, public symposium, and general assembly), (2) Dropbox (for poster presentations and distribution of handouts (that were submitted in advance), and (3) Slack (for communication among conference participants). All information (including how to access Zoom and Dropbox) will be shared on Slack workspace, so it is really important that conference participants join Slack workspace (Please also kindly note that Slack workplace will be removed in the end of June 2021).
Please see below for an overview of Slack.

02__a会場_a1-a4... (there are 24 channels according to presentation numbers)
We created channels for oral presentation rooms according to presentation numbers. Since Q&A time is limited, you can also ask questions or make comments in these channels. Please also mention either last name of presenter or presentation title, so others can understand for whom questions/comments were addressed to. (Note) If you want to receive reply on timely manner, please ask those questions/comments during Q&A time on Zoom. This is a supplementary measure to complement Q&A session.
For your information, a link to upload (1) posters for poster presentations and (2) handouts for oral presentations will be announced in the first week of May.
